Your walking tour of Nessebar’s highlights starts outside the main fortress gates. Together with your professional tour guide will explore the highlights of this fascinating island. The first stop is the local Archeological Museum, housing great collections of Greek, Thracian, Roman and Bulgarian artifacts. You will learn interesting facts about the island’s glorious past and get familiar with its intricate history.  The journey leads you to your next point of interest, which is one of the best preserved churches from 14th century – the All Mighty Church of Pantocrator. Its elaborate exterior talks a lot about the architecture and lifestyle of Bulgarians at the time. The tour continues with visiting several other medieval churches, including St Sophia Church, St John the Baptist and the church of St Stephen Church. The interior walls of St Stephen Church are entirely painted with 500 years old magnificent murals and frescoes.  Later, see the semi-circular Ancient Theater of Nessebar, built on a lovely hillside featuring adorable panoramic sea view. Stroll peacefully along the glittering and natural coastline of Nessebar and admire the cozy, charming residential villas and houses of the island. Amble though its romantic narrow streets and discover its hidden gems. Your epic walking tour will lead you to the island’s quirkiest and most amazing bar, built into the ground like caves. The preferred meeting point that we suggest for this tour is in front of the entrance of the Archaeological Museum of Nessebar, located 1 min walk from the Bus Stop of the Old Town of Nessebar.

The base price for this tour is € 69 per group of up to 10 people.

The price includes professional tour guiding service for up to 3 hours per group of max 10 people.

If your group is larger than 10 participants in the walking tour of Nessebar, additional charge of € 1 is applied to each person above 10 people.
